Privacy Policy

Effective: October 15, 2026

Kairo AI Inc. (“Kairo,” “we”) runs kairoplatform.com and builds automated assistants that reply to leads on behalf of businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We are based in British Columbia, Canada, and follow Canada's PIPEDA and British Columbia's PIPA.

What we collect

How we use it

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and tracking

We use these tools on the site:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers an opt-out for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and you can manage ad preferences in your Meta and Google accounts. Blocking cookies won't stop the site from working.

Text messages

If you text our number, you've asked to hear back from us by text. Replies come from an automated assistant, and it says so in its first message. The assistant writes its replies using AI models from the providers listed below. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our texting providers, Twilio and Telnyx, handle your number only to deliver messages.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Kairo, and only for that purpose:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, under this policy.

If you're a Kairo client

When your business works with Kairo, we collect contact details for the people on your team we work with, your billing details and payment history, and login details for any Kairo tools you use. We use them to set up and run your service, bill you, and keep in touch about your account. Stripe processes card payments, so we never see or store your full card number. We keep billing records for as long as tax law requires.

Your customers' information, and the messages Kairo sends and receives for you, belong to you. Our client agreement sets out how we handle them, and the next section explains it for your customers.

If you're a customer of a business that uses Kairo

When Kairo replies to you for a business, such as a contractor you called, we act as that business's service provider. We use your messages only to provide that service for them, and our texting and AI model providers process them only for that purpose and don't train their models on them. The business's privacy policy governs how your information is used. For access or deletion, contact that business. We'll help them respond.

Where it's stored

Some of our service providers store data outside Canada, mainly in the United States. That information is then subject to those countries' laws, including lawful access by their authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist, booking and conversation records while they're useful for talking with you or providing the service, and delete or anonymize them after that. Analytics data is kept according to each tool's retention settings. If you opt out of our emails, we keep your address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw consent to how we use it. Email our privacy officer at [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. You can unsubscribe from our emails with the link in any email, and stop texts by replying STOP.

If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

Kairo is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
